We wanted to be the first to let you know that the remaining Lake Lanier dock permits availability has been announced. Are you sitting down? There are only 174 Lake Lanier dock permits left and they will be given out on October 28, 2009.
A few years ago the Corps of Engineers put a freeze on new dock permits. The recent period of drought gave the Corps time to determine how many dock permits they would allow and how they would fairly distribute them among Lake Lanier home owners. If you are a home own on Lake Lanier then you can apply for a dock permit at www.lacklaniersupl.com.
We expect these limitations on dock permits to increase the property value on Lake Lanier.
